EHTIC building nominated in the national competition “Modernisation of the Year & Construction of the 21st Century”!

The building of the Silesian Centre for Engineering Support in Medicine and Sport “Assist Med Sport Silesia” (now the European HealthTech Innovation Centre – EHTIC) was nominated in the national competition “Modernisation of the Year & Construction of the 21st Century”.

The competition is organised by the Association for the Protection of National Tangible Heritage. The aim of the competition is to select construction projects: modernisations and new buildings completed by the first quarter of 2022, which are distinguished by particular quality, functionality, urban and aesthetic values.

The competition promotes the functionality of modernised and rebuilt buildings and structures, modernity of technologies and design solutions, application of new techniques, modern efficient and safe devices, high quality of construction and conservation works and environmental effects. In the case of historic buildings, care for architecture and protection of cultural heritage is promoted.

This year, the building of the Silesian Centre for Engineering Support in Medicine and Sport “Assist Med Sport Silesia”, including the lecture hall in Zabrze, which is now called the European HealthTech Innovation Centre – EHTIC, has been nominated during the competition.
