Horizon4Poland’23 – Partnership is the new leadership

Last week we had the pleasure of participating in Poland’s largest matchmaking event – Horizon4Poland’23, organised by Industry Focal Points under the theme: “Partnership is the new leadership”.

The two-day conference took place on 21-22 November at the Norblin Factory in Warsaw.

This was the second edition of a unique event on a national scale, bringing together for the second time a group of innovators seeking partners for R&D projects from Horizon Europe. Participation in the meeting enables Polish entities to join the community of innovation leaders within the framework of European partnerships; connecting Polish companies, enterprises, clusters, scientific and research institutions with foreign partners in order to increase their activity and chances in Horizon Europe competitions on the one hand, and to support them in the process of acquiring funds for innovation on the other hand.

The meeting was attended by more than 500 people – representatives of not only Polish but also European scientists, entrepreneurs, business representatives, innovators, representatives of the European Commission and 12 European Partnerships: including EIT Health, of which Silesian University of Technology is a partner.

The meeting was a great opportunity to establish new contacts and initiate cooperation between Polish science and research institutions, Polish innovation companies, European Partnerships and foreign partners in order to create the most innovative solutions on a European scale.
