Marka-Śląskie 2022 award for EHTIC!

The European HealthTech Innovation Centre of the Silesian University of Technology has received the “Marka-Śląskie” award in the “Science” category in 2022.  

The ‘Marka-Śląskie’ competition aims to promote the best enterprises, institutions, organizations, local governments, or undertakings which, through their activities and conduct, build a positive image of the region and contribute to building the identity of the Silesia. The award is of an honorary nature and is granted annually in twelve categories.  The announcement of the results of this year’s competition and the presentation of awards took place on 3 September 2022, during the ceremonial XXVIII Gala of the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Gliwice. The awards were presented by the Silesian Governor Jarosław Wieczorek, the Mayor of the City of Gliwice, Adam Neuman, and the President of the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Wiktor Pawlik. The distinction awarded to the European HealthTech Innovation Centre of the Silesian University of Technology was received by the Centre’s Director, Prof. Marek Gzik, whilst the Silesian University of Technology was represented by its Vice Rector for General Affairs, Prof. Bogusław Łazarz.
